Charmingly carved as a turbaned blackamoor figure, the carved hardstone head above a chalcedony/agate turban with green jasper hardstone cap, the shoulders and body carved from carnelian, dressed with a blue lapis and gold sash set with circular-cut rubies, a further ruby-set bow to the collar, mounted in gold with a suspension loop, above a banded agate base carved as a seal with an intaglio device to the underside.
